Yes. To contract directly with healthcare facilities, you’ll need a business entity (such as an LLC). Don’t worry—our Clinician Entrepreneurship Program (CEP) walks you through everything, from legal setup to tax compliance. You are not in this alone; the EmpoweRx Team and Partners will help every step.

Yes! One of the biggest advantages of EmpoweRx is that you have the freedom to negotiate your own contracts—including pay rates, schedules, and contract durations. This means no more accepting a set rate dictated by an agency—you set the terms.

As a Independent Affiliate Vendor on the EmpoweRx Marketplace platform, all payments are distributed via Stripe to a designated business account. Vendor payment terms vary depending on the healthcare organization and are outlined clearly on the confirmation agreement. All time is entered weekly into the Marketplace Shift Log tab by Sunday night. Unit Managers edit and approve Shift Logs on Mondays. Based on the invoicing cadence for the healthcare org (bi-weekly, monthly etc,) the system auto generates an aggregated invoice of all contractors and emailed to the accounts payable department according the terms (Net 15, 30 etc.). When funds are received payments are initiated via Stripe.
